Tail light bulb replacement

Tonight, at a little over 7k miles my drivers side turn signal died. (Halogen)
Watched a video on how to replace it. All I can say is - what a treat!

Can’t wait to fracture a piece of plastic and lose bolts during 30 degree weather…

I am going to replace my halogen with led, but waiting until it gets warmer for the same reason. It's ridiculous that you can remove the doors, roof, body panels easier than replacing a tail bulb. Good luck.

I recently replaced both of my halogens with LEDs. It certainly wasn't the easiest process to replace a light bulb but it wasn't completely awful (although I was able to do it just before the temps took a nose dive, so I didn't have to worry too much about that)

I figure I might as well replace them both with LED. It’s just a matter of time until the remaining halogen dies.

You don't truly own your Bronco until you have to glue some of the tail light back on!

That bottom tiny horizontal piece is the most common to brake. I snapped mine and just JB welded it back on

Lol after watching the video that was my very first thought. Epoxy time! Lol

I have Oracles, they work well. I did peel off the bottom plastic panel on the passenger side because I did not grab deep enough. Epoxied it back. Just dumb design. But not dumber than that on a BMW 3 series where replacement of a headlight LED bulb requires removing the wheel, liner and half the engine bay.

Well, tried to buy a replacement halogen bulb until I get LEDs. Good luck with that!

No auto parts place carries it. Seems dealer-only item and now it’s Saturday, no dealer parts department open until Tuesday

But it was FUN tearing apart the assembly in preparation for replacing what I THOUGHT would be an easy to source light bulb.
