I have a 22 Bronco OBX with the lux package and have noticed that the drivers side blind spot even with BLISS is terrible. On many occasions I have come close to a problem. After watching many treads on the Summa performance mirrors I bit and purchased a set. The mirrors are what they say they are. Perfect as they eliminate every blind spot. However the issue is removal and install. The product showed up with no install/removal instructions and only after contacting customer support which is text only they gave me a link to a video that is lacking in detail with way too much talk about nothing. Removing the old mirror was not as simple as the video shows with your fingers. I had to use a flat screwdriver to loosen the grip to pop the mirror. Care has to be taken on removing the BLISS wire as they break easy. Selling a product without good instructions is unacceptable. Especially at this cost. The product is great the customer service not so much.

Plus 1 on the lack of viable instructions to properly remove BLISS connectors…

I am going to add my 2 cents to the posts above as I agree. Also I have the grey w/ BLIS and these are nearly unusable if you have dark tinted windows (like I do) and if you're wearing sunglasses then they are really pointless. I am glad I purchased from someone here because if I'd ordered directly from Suma and waited 8-10 weeks, as they currently say is their lead time, I'd be really pissed.

In the end the visibility that they provide is really good but whatever tint or anti glare they put on them is really bad as it makes the mirror much too dark.

Non-BLIS here. No problems at all with install. I initially ordered the blue anti-glare, and with my tint they were too dark at night. Swapped for a clear set and they're amazing. The wires for defrost were much easier to remove the second time, but even the first time they weren't bad if you have a little patience.

Where did you get a clear set? I would totally be down for that but what I see on their site is only grey and blue both of which are too dark with side window tint.

My two cents.

There are no blind spots with the factory mirrors when adjusted properly.

To properly adjust: You should put your head against the window and adjust the driver side mirror all the way out until you just barely see the side of the vehicle. Then lean far right and do the same for the passenger side. When you set them like this you will see cars in the rearview mirror transition to the side mirrors as they pass, then into your peripheral vision before they leave the mirror. Of course, reverse order when you pass them.

I'm not sure if they're different from the gray or not -I ordered them over a year ago- but my tint is pretty dark since I live in New Mexico and they work great.

Thanks, yeah my tint is very dark, like 5% I think, and I just put the grey on and it’s just so much darker than the factory. I’ll run with it for another couple weeks and see if it’s just me that needs to adjust.

First thing I did was tint the windows, second was the gray Suma mirrors. Didn't like them at first but I'm used to them now and they are great during the sunny days here. Additionally, at 0-dark-30 on my way to the airport I don't have to readjust them for the asshat behind me with his bights on.

Hi. I am a newB on the site. I am attempting to ask a few questions on this forum about the Suma performance mirrors for the 6G bronco. I want to purchase a pair. Don't know what color of mirror allows the brightest view. My front driver and passenger windows are not tinted. Second question, is there a group buy and how do I get a group buy purchase? Third question, what is the fastest way to get the mirrors? Fourth question, Are there only two options (gray or blue)?

I have the blue suma mirrors and windows are tinted. Much to dark at night. Wish I would’ve bought the regular but not gonna pay to switch.

Anyone happen to order the model with the turn signals integrated into the mirror and also retain capability with side mirror markers as well? Just looking for a simple diagram that shows me what I need to tap into in order for the turn signal to work on my mirrors.
