Is there a subwoofer package (box and subwoofer) that will fit in the rear lower storage compartment? I can't use the inside of the back door as that is a fold down table that is valuable. I don't need a ton of base and would prefer not to have to build a box.

Maybe an under seat amp/sub would be a good fit for you.

Kicker hideaway under drivers seat with seat jackers installed...iirc you need .75" but will net no loss in cargo area. Otherwise, you need to put a box where the factory sub would be or build a box

You don't have a sub/sub-box in there already?

I have one but want more base.
Then all you need to do is replace what's there with a Kicker CompR 8" and a kicker key 500.1 amp. I did that to mine along with new speakers in the dash, kick panels and ear pods and I couldn't be happier - even with top and doors off.

any chance you could post a complete list of your stereo add ons? Sounds like a direction I need to go.

Infinity Reference Series 407F (3 pairs - front dash corners, 1 center, rear pods, 1 spare)
Metra Adapters (from Crutchfield - all 4" locations use same adapter)
Memphis MOJO Pro MJP6, 6" for the kick panels with the speaker mounting adapter and wire harness adapter both Metra
Kicker Comp R 8" Dual Voice Coil 4 ohm sub, wired in parallel to get to 2ohm
Kicker Key 500.1 amp with remote volume knob wired in 2 ohm as above to deliver 300 watts.
Stock B&O amp used for all 4" and kick panel speakers.
Polyfill in all speaker locations
Turn off speed compensated volume

Really clean sounding setup at all volumes - normally run at 9-10 but when I with top and doors off 13-15 is more likely range. Remote volume knob on sub it right around 12'oclock. @swamp2 I believe used rivnuts to mount his sub in the B&O enclosure but I just drilled new holes and and I want to say 8-32 screws. (had I thought about it rivnuts was the cleaner way to go).

You don't need to cut any of the opening on the sub enclosure - there is a small "fin" on the bottom - seems like a centering tab - easily removed with a razor blade. The beauty ring on the Kicker Sub needs to be trimmed or fully removed (you can get away with trimming it if you like it but it's hidden anyway and I was too anxious to get it done to really take my time (which was stupid of me I know because I messed up the subwoofer connecter pins I bought and then got pissed and cut the harness when I couldn't find more pins, which I knew I had - found them next day :curse: )

Overall I am much happier with the system - but very disappointed in B&O needing an extra $1500 to sound the way it does now.

nobody offers this solution, but I've been talking to a couple custom audio shops about building this especially with the amount of space we have underneath that cargo floor given there's no muffler there. I haven't found anyone that's even done it custom wise each time I've inquired they defer to building a custom box in the stock location and modifying that panel to fit a 10 or 12 inch sub. when I say modifying the panel meaning doing a full custom 3-D printed side panel for an OEM look that accommodates the larger size of the box.

for what it's worth I'm running Mosconi pro amps , atmosphere DSP, Gladden aerospace three ways upfront and trying to figure out sub solution. would love to run and audiomobile encore 12"

Cool project! I scanned that entire space (from below) for my potable water tank system I am bringing to market. The 3D scanning was a bit of a bitch... You probably wouldn't need that level of detail and accuracy, but if you need it for your project, I would provide the model.

I also have a model with the tow hitch braces in place. I fully scanned both of them. They are the base for my skid plate and tank.

More BASS...
I added a ring so I didn't have to butcher the box and plugged the port as the box is really too small to be ported for my selection of sub.

Someone I cannot now find by searching has 100% done what you describe by putting in two Kicker 6.75"s in the floor compartment just above the jack.
