I'm old, and sorry if I can't find my topic on here. I have a 22 Outerbanks, 4 door with (replaced B&O system), SAS pkg. I have the Siriusxm streaming package on my phone/home computer. Is their anyway to use the streaming app in my Bronco without using my phone? I have the "built in Navigation", and The "Alexis built in" . But I do NOT have the " PREMIUM Connectivity" anymore. Sound is terrible using my phone. But I can't solve the puzzle! Is there a way around this? Would the premium connectivity solve the issue? I don't use Alexa BS at all. Any HELP would be much appreciated.

You would need the phone, or other device with internet, to provide the internet connection to stream Sirius - btw, works well.

Using an iPhone? Install the SiriusXM app, make sure your phone is paired with your Bronco, enable Apple CarPlay, and go! You can then use either the iPhone or the CarPlay screen to control SiriusXM app.

I can use it through my phone. But the sound quality seems quite inferior compared to subscribing through my radio. But the cost is roughly $6 more to use in the Bronco only. Streaming is everywhere. Trying to get the sound quality for the streaming price if that makes sense?

Yes. I do that now. Not good at explaining things. The sound is quite inferior going through the phone. Sounds more hollow etc. Am I wrong?

It does make sense. But you’ll spend more time/effort looking for a solution comparable to the subscription service …especially at $72 per year. Call Sirius and haggle over price. They have specials often and do a lot to keep subscribers.

Just add SiriusXM to the Bronco. It costs $5.99/month and will solve your problem if your not tech savvy and save your phone battery
Yes. But I can't listen to it in my house, outside etc. I'm trying to figure out if I can have the best of both worlds I guess.

[/QUO I'm doing the $4.99 for streaming only. Do you get both for $72 ?

It’s been a while since I had SXM, but I thought most Car plans included streaming? They did a few years ago when i had it anyway.

You either need a car plan, or you need your phone in the Bronco connected via Bluetooth or Android/CarPlay. No real other way around it to listen in the Bronco.

I have a subscription in most of my cars and use the app when working outside or music/talk inside - quality isn’t that bad on my gig network.

the one thing that irks me is they don’t have the app for Apple Watch - I don’t carry my phone when I run/workout.

So you pay $72 for your vehicle. and it includes ALL channels streaming?

Again, have not listened recently, but a few years ago streaming via the phone was higher quality that satellite in the car - and by a good bit. Especially the talk channels

I pay $5ish per car per month. I don’t do all the channels - mainly music and news/talk. The app is included. My kids have me subscribed to almost every video streaming service … the Sirius cost is barely a blip on the radar. And I don’t watch the streaming, they do and don’t live home 😳
