You used "significant investment" and "vehicle" in the same sentence. The joke is on you because a vehicle is a depreciating asset not an investment, which by definition means there is inherent financial risk. I am no lawyer but I bet Ford would say you got what you paid for!
Look Kia had 2.5 mil complaints on the oil filter housing that cracks and NHTSA said they wouldn’t issue a recall because users must be over tightening the filter. The logic was it left the factory and worked, even though it could crack just from cold weather. I imagine the same logic will apply...
The problem with this “poll” is it is inherently biased or should say biased for the response you want. You can’t say 37% of the responders need replacement or 17% filed warranty claims if you don’t have a percentage with no issues. @2023bronco is in the “I’m grumpy phase of ownership and want...
I am not sure this in unbiased group to be debating EV versus ICE. For 1 the number of folks referencing Elon is misguided. Elon didn’t invent anything he just implemented and marketed it. Second, yes we have an infrastructure problem with EVs, but there is a clear group that is holding that...
What is unclear? They warranty original manufacturer parts or ford approved accessories? The fact that you lifted your vehicle is going to void the warranty on parts associated with the lift or altered by the lift. This is pretty common, and is why a lot of us don’t modify until the vehicle is...
Ford doesn’t have to prove anything. It is in the paperwork when your purchased they vehicle that aftermarket parts void the warranty. All car and bike manufacturers do this. Hell Harley will void the warranty if you install aftermarket pipes. This isn’t new.
I don’t know why I clicked on this post but alas I did. The pictures are confusing, is it a sport or full size Bronco. Makes a difference, if it is full size and this is your concern your likely not ever taking it off road. If it is a sport and this bothers you then you have it fixed as you are...
I love this thread! It is complaining about prepaying for something that is being built because of risk to a group of people who mostly prepaid 3 yrs in advance for a Bronco:)
I got an OBX with all those additional things and it has been as capable as any other model Bronco and for the off roading I do. Having said that before you sell yours you can buy a modular bumper ford or aftermarket, lift the Bronco or add aux switches probably for cheaper than getting a new one
