Dropped it off this morning and picked it up this evening. This is a good one. The bolts on the Sta-bar mounts to the frame were LOOSE. So loose that the whole assembly was moving around and caused the sensors to throw the errors.

Dealer order a new Sta-bar because they are worried it caused damage from it moving around. But they tightened it down and cleared the error. So it's back home. Super happy with Capital Ford in Carson City NV and every part of the process from sale to service.

Light never went off for the entire 20-min test drive. Was still on when I gave the keys back.
yes the light was still on at the bronco off rodeo too, but the parking brake released

Saw 2 of these failure on Facebook. Anyone here got that issue? When reserving a Badlands I wondered about the reliability of the sta bar. Sad to see multiple people already having issues with it.

Take it out on the road, drive for a mile or so

From all the reports doesnt appear to be the mechanism itself but rather control module or loose connections.

We had a few at the Rodeo, went to take it back to the dealer and it corrected itself, one of them went all the way to the dealer and they found no faults

despite setting and releasing the brake 10x, turning the vehicle on/off 3x, and pointing out to two different salesman. Final conclusion was "Oh well, take it out anyway and we'll look at it later." Not sure if they did but it sold a few days later @ $10K over MSRP.
I can’t believe that “pointing it out to two used car salesmen” didn’t resolve the problem.

😜

To their credit they both tried to help but was clearly a software or wiring issue needing an OBD scan/reset or more likely service bay appt.

I know we all have used car salesman stories, but personal fave was when I was looking at a used Toyota Tercel with/for college gf. She loved it and was about to close the deal until the salesman smacked his hand on the hood to emphasize what a great little car it was and -- I kid you not -- the entire driver's side headlight assembly fell out and was dangling by the wiring harness. So, no deal, thanks.

My dealer replaced the entire assembly which I think is the chassis control module. The main part was MB3Z-5482-C…it’s about a $2,000 part. Anyway, after replacement everything seems to work fine. No more error message.

I have this issue too. First happened around 2,000 miles.......5600 miles now. They are replacing the full Swaybar. No mention of a module.

Mine said that the swaybar gets replaced before the module according to Ford.

FWIW it's been over a month and I'm still waiting on the parts.

I have the same issue since Saturday on my 4dr Badlands (900 miles). Super irritating since there are no appointments at any dealership until Thursday ... I was going to take it to Tahoe into the snow for the first time this weekend.

I disconnected the battery for 6 hours today just to see if a reset would work ... no joy.

Guessing I will not see my vehicle for a month or so :(

They might keep it overnight for diagnosis, but otherwise you should be fine to drive it (in 2H) while waiting for the parts.

I am leaving Thursday evening, unfortunately. Also ... lots of snow recently up there so 2H is suboptimal. Not a problem ... just a bummer that I can't use the new toy.
