Howdy other Bronco enthusiasts!

I am curious if anyone has used the Spec stage 2+ clutch in their Bronco?
I’m debating between that and the South Bend Stage 2 Endurance (which has plenty of reviews)

I just lifted my 2022 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch and put 37’s on it. Smelt some clutch so I know the time is coming. I also have the Ford Performance Tuner on it and 100,000 miles. So the clutch is due.

I do daily drive it but I also want good hold for Rock Crawing. I’m not far from Moab and will be there next month testing out my mods. I used to get really rowdy, now not so much. But I will still hit the hard obstacles. So I’m mixed use: daily drive / heavy overland / rock crawling.

looking for opinion and options on a clutch.

Yeah, ditto on not having heard or used a Spec clutch before, but I have had two Southbend Stage 3 endurance clutches in my GTI and they ruled.

Spec has been around for a long time in the tuner community. Never became as popular as ACT or Exedy, probably for a reason. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews on south bend products.

How were they daily driving. I’m thinking about getting the Drag clutch for my Bronco. Everyone I have seen has used the endurance.

On my gti it had perfect feel. a heavier pedal but nothing that made it uncomfortable in daily use. i put almost 60k before installing a fresh one for the new owner when i sold it. i BEAT on that car and it held up to almost 400whp everyday. i sing their praises.

I installed a South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Daily Organic Clutch Kit, Item #: FB26301. I have nothing but great things to say about it; however, I have gone through four master cylinders since then. I am having a hard time finding a beefier master cylinder that can handle the clamp force of the stage two. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. I am currently working with an off-road company in Texas that is trying to help me pinpoint one. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean the slave/ throughout? Or the master up top? I am doing the clutch now… after sitting on it all year. I am putting a new slave/throughout from ford it. I should have it back together tomorrow. I also went with the stage 2.
