They aren’t. I ordered a new driveshaft, so we will see if it fixes anything or not.
Was wondering if you got your new drive shaft in and if that solved the issue?

I did. Just haven’t had a lot of time to drive it yet to make sure, but so far, I don’t think I’ve felt the issue at all anymore. I’ll post another update in a couple days

My f150 does this. In it the driveshaft needs greasing and it goes a way for awhile

So glad I found this thread. I am experiencing this as well. Cant pin point the scenarios that it occurs. I have been underneath my Bronco for hours for the last two days. Put my eyes on all fasteners, driveshafts, motor mounts, skid plates, rear track bar, body mounts, etc. I dont see any smoking guns. I am going to try and ignore it for now.
Omg i feel better I have this too. 2k miles, just started. Doesn't happen often but when it does it's just starting to roll after reversing or slowly turning into a parking space.

Is this an "issue" or an "annoyance"?
This has been happening to me for a while now 15k miles in. I'm going off grid in a month and just would like some reassurance from strangers on the Internet that I won't be stranded in the middle of the desert.

Just an annoyance. You’ll be fine

So I have two Broncos both with the automatic and the one with the Ford performance tuner does not do this and the OEM One without a tuner has this issue. I've also seen this issue in other transmissions of similar design. Am I honest opinion what's going on is the vehicle does an immediate downshift on the brake release. This is usually due to having low line pressure and can be remedied with a higher pressure.

Trans doesn’t do any shifting when releasing the brake. It’s in 1st when you are stopped, and still in 1st when the brake is released.

Just want to give everyone an update. I finally got over to the dealership. requested I take a tech for a ride to replicate the issue. He acknowledged. In a few weeks they will be swapping my drive shaft. I'll let everyone know if that solves the issue.

My 2.7L 2Dr also has this, brought it in and I am getting a new driveshaft. I felt it and immediately thought slip-yoke, which is not serviceable and in the driveshaft itself.

My brand new WT did this once when it had like 60 miles on it. Now it has 380 miles and everything appears to be fine..

Rear driveshaft replaced. Appears to have solved the problem.
