Sideswiped by a Sentra

I was approaching an intersection. The lanes in the road shifted to the right. I followed the lane markings. A Nissan Sentra that was passing me on the right didn't. He kept going straight. I heard a rubbing noise as he went by.

He wasn't going to stop, but the light changed. He got out and looked at his car then said I sideswiped him. But he didn't seem to want to stay around. I took a quick look at my Bronco and asked, "Are we good?" He said, "We're good." We got back in our vehicles and left.

Later I took this picture of the "damage." I love the K02s.

I also need to get a dash cam. I'm thinking about the Thinkware U1000 but I'm open to suggestions.

It was hard to tell how much damage. Since it wasn't a pristine Sentra in the first place, I'm not sure he noticed the difference. He probably never would have stopped if it wasn't for the light, and me leaning on the horn.

I have the Thinkware...it works great...i also wired the extrabattery thing you can get and put it under drivers seat. Also got the motion detection thing to make the thing last longer...in case I leave it parked for an extended period of time. I did not get the rear view camera because I have a soft top and did not want to spend the brain power to figure out a mounting solution. Also I have the thinkware using the hotspot on the bronco so when I let the wife take it somewhere I can spy on her....LOL j/k

It's always those Nissans you have to watch out for lol.. I'm glad to see no damage on your Bronco! As far as dash cams, I have the ring dash cam on my rig but unfortunately they stopped producing them for the time being. My girlfriend has the Nexar beam on her Mazda and she loves it.

For a Dashcam, I fell in love with this solution. It isn't the easiest to review on the spot but I can access the footage from my phone or when I get home. I love the integration and the install is super easy.

I rolled into a car in a drive thru one night in my pickup (working 80hr weeks at the time) and the guy gets out, looks at his dirty ass already wrecked car, gives me an Ok sign, gets back in and drove up. I honestly don't think he coulda told me where I hit him.

They do and more shockingly, people actually buy them for reasons I have never understood outside of cheap credit.

Get a dashcam for the rearview as well. I have one in the front and one on the back window.
