Not sure of the dynamics at play here but pointing it toward you should work unless you're completely shrimp-shaped.
If not I can only conclude you're using it wrong. 🌞
If i were a betting man, I'd say either is head is rubbing against the roof, or he's isn't understanding what he's being told.

If you have a friend with a 3D printer you can just print a clip. with a part that hangs down. I did that and also included a camera mount.

I'm 5'7"/8" and have the same issue. It has to do with the angle of the windshield. Sometimes I can't see traffic signals unless I duck down to look. I'm considering a tint strip (if anyone has it how does it work well?).

I am only 6 feet tall and when I flip down the sun visor it’s too low by maybe 2 inches - even with it flipped against the windshield. I can’t imagine that anyone that is taller can use the visor at all. Does anyone make a shorter replacement? This is a 2026 SAS.

Thx!
As a shorter man of 5'7" I noticed the visor issue immediately. I took a whole different approach to the visor concern and just tinted the front window the whole way down. Illegal as hell, but problem solved! Lol.

But in reality, you could just get a limo tinted eyebrow piece for your front window and that is perfectly legal in 50 states. Easiest solution to your issue.

Good grief - I’m not an idiot.
My post plainly states - even when it is tilted as much as you can “hitting the windshield” ….. it is too low. Exactly as others have stated replying to my question.
He means just dropping the visor down a bit... so that it's pointing toward you but down slightly.

I'm 6-1 and I totally get what you're saying. But agree with VAtruck, I rotate the visor away from the windshield, it looks like its poking you in the face. It works fine for me.
My other bronco buddy took his visor to a shoe repair guy, and they cut it, (looks great). He had to do the other side because of the look. Now the visor is to short for his wife passengers side. Hope you find answer.

The same solution that everyone else in this thread mentioned, works with that problem also.

I wish someone made a visor with about 6-8" more extension for the 2 Dr...... to catch that annoying gap at the back of the window when the sun is on the side... 🫤

I only flip mine down as much as I need it. It’s not all or nothing.

My wife is constantly complaining about my visor being too long. No way in hell I'm cutting it back though.

Did you know you can partially rotate the visor as far as you need to block the sun? It will be at an angle but that's fine.
Yup! I’m 6’-3” and that’s what I do too, have the visor tilted toward me rather than up against the windshield. Tilted toward the driver also makes a little better sight-angle for seeing overhead stop lights.

But, hey, some people miss the obvious…
