I also was sold on the Diabolical setup at Carson City and bought one. Has no plans on buying prior. The owner (Alan) is a Vet, solid guy and I engaged him in a conversation prior to looking at his design for over an hour. He comes from the aircraft industry as well and it shows in his design. He isn’t pushy at all and I ended up asking to see his product lol. I was floored by the thought out design. Waaaay better designed then I anticipated. It is extremely versatile on the fly. In fact, it opens up completely if needed for larger items, sleep in my Meraki hammock, or put my dog in the back. I’m stoked to run it and it’s really the best system I’ve seen ever. It’s very well thought out to the smallest details and his profit is actually very low in order to keep the cost down as much as possible for an American made product.

Alan is legit, buy his stuff and support an honest business selling an American product that supports vets and owned by vets.

The diabolical 2 door one looks totally different than the 4 door one. There is no small door in the back, the top doesn't look as easy to take off and the back panel does not fold down like in the 4 door. There is a bunch of spin knobs to take the back off. Seems like a huge let down for the price considering the tuffy is half the price and is basically the same thing.

I just modified the Ford/Tuffy rear storage unit which holds my fridge and portable power on top which leaves me with an area to lock up my camera gear and compressor regardless of roof configuration.
