Im hesitant to put this out there...

I die a little on the inside everytime i see someone sitting on their butt putting a tire on, regardless of tire size.

I understand some people have mobility issues and sometimes you do what you have to.

Drop to a knee, put a foot on one side of the tire. grab a lever, big screwdriver or prybar, even your tool you used to remove the lug nuts. Put it on the other side of the tire. Used it to lift the tire onto the hub. Using your foot hand and bar, spin tire if you have to. Pop it onto lugs.

Works on over the road trucks, works for sub compacts, and works on broncos.

Minimal strain on body. And you are already in a position to get back on your feet to continue working.

Hope this helps someone. If not, atleast it will give you something to argue about.

I am one to sit on a stool and lift the tires with my feet and position them with my hands-type. That being said, I have thought about this as a good solution:

They claim it will work on up to 35’s. No connection to the company or product.

Easiest way is to sit on ground put feet under front and rear of tire and use feet to lift while aligning with hands. I’ve been doing it this way my whole life, I’m 52 now and it’s still the easiest way I’ve found.

Yep, that's the way I learned on big farm trucks 40 years ago. Easy peasy.
Work smarter, not harder.

Oh, and only lift enough to get the tire off, not 6 inches off the ground. Also much easier to lift the rear at the axle and not the frame as your jack only has to move an inch or so instead of feet.

Mostly, at this stage in life I'm just tired, so I sit instead of kneel. I'm not even sure I'll get back up.

I was beginning to think that I was the only one using the rear axle as a jack point.

This thread reminds me that I gotta change oil and rotate tires on both Broncos this coming weekend. Sure it's a chore but I got a system down and can do each vehicle in under 30min

Did our Sasquatch first five tire rotation last week at 7500 km (4660 Miles)
Figure ill continue flipping them every 7500km … air compressor & floor jack had them all done in 35-40 minutes
