Hi all. I’m look at some used Black Rhino wheels. Using this awesome calculator, says a 17x9.5 with +6 offset will be 74.4mm (~3 inches) further out than my stock OBX rims, 18x7.5 +55 offset.

https://www.willtheyfit.com/

This will certainly give poke beyond my OBX fender flares. My understanding is the SAS flares are about 2 inches wider than the OBX. My guess would be these rims with 315s would give minimal poke with SAS flares? Which is the look I’m going for.

I searched, but could find this specific setup (9.5 rim with +6 offset). Looking for pics / thoughts. Thanks in advance!

74.4mm is correct.

+55 offset → +6 offset = 49mm
7.5 inch width → 9.5 inch width = 25.4mm

49 + 25.4 = 74.4mm = 2.93 inch

You'll have about an inch more poke than the typical Sasquatch setup. Sasquatch is +20 offset with 8.5 inch wheels... or 47.7mm.

I have 17x9 with -6 offset so those would be pretty close to the same poke. With Sas flares, they will still poke out a bit (3/4 to 1"). The stock Sas wheels are 17x8.5 with +30 offset.

Just for future reference, I've been using this site for 20+ years on everything I decide to change the wheels/tires on and it's been very useful!

https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/

Both my wife's Bronco and mine have the same aftermarket wheels, 17x8.5, 4.75" BS, 0mm OS and mine look like they stick out a lot, but you have to look at my vintage flares. Her HEL flares pretty much cover all of her tire.

For an OBX comp + stock 18s with 275-65-18 Blizzak DMV2 the outermost sidewall is flush with outer edge of flare.
