Hello, idk if this question has been asked before, but I have a new 2023 BD bronco with the 6 cyl engine. I notice that there is a vibration when I am in idle. Rpms seem fine, resting at 0.8. No check engine comes up, but it's like an intermittent rumble i feel. I especially notice it when the AC is blowing, but it is still there with the AC off. Any thoughts? Is this normal? I tried premium gas and it seems to help, but still there.

My 2.7 has the same characteristics. Very slight vibration/slightly rough idle. I have 11k miles on my truck with no issues, I think it's just the nature of the engine being under load at a low RPM.

Same here, sadly. 2.7 2023 bd just over 1k miles. Rough idle at cold start with a bit of a tick, then it's much better when warm. As mentioned, premium seems to help, but may just be mental.

So if it gets worse or you want to dig into it more. Check the spark plugs and coils because a slightly fouled plug will kill the coil pack on a Ford fast. Just got 2 coil packs replaced on my ford work truck at 60k miles due to a bad O2 sensor. My service manager won't change plugs so I will be back for another round of coil packs.

Yeah there was talk about the "rough" and sometimes "noisy" idle...we joke that's why they installed A.S.S..... the engine idles like crap.

Hey there. I can look into your Bronco’s vibration concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

It's pretty much most of us with the 2.7...

Mine exhibits a bit of roughness/stumble when I first pull out of garage and even a little worse as I pull out my uphill driveway. Once warm haven’t noticed anything.

Mine idles fairly rough when cold, but clears up once warmed up.

I've noticed mine doing the same thing over the past few months. I'm at 26,XXX miles. I was thinking that maybe it had to do with the Summer heat, but I don't remember it happening last year and we had the same 100+ temps. The rumble is very rhythmic - like almost on a 3 count.

If you reverse down your driveway after a cold start with the back windows out, you can hear it sputtering some that matches in time the rhythmic "feel" of it.

I've chalked it up to possible cold phasers or something.
Idle shows steady, no codes, but it's there.
