Resolved: 2025 Clock Issue - Keeps Reverting to 12 Hour Clock Setting

Set the clock to 24 hour mode and after turning off and back on it reverts to 12 hour mode. Also noticed with “automatically update time” it has correct time but says Standard Time (ST) vs Daylight Time (DT).

Anyone have same issue and solve? It’s a minor annoyance that keeps annoying me.

Being ex-military, I set my clock to 24-Hr when going through the settings at the dealership. It has never switched back, but I can't tell you where I made the change.

Mine is also set to 24 hr, switched it day one and it's never switched back.

Phone is on 24 hour but my wife’s phone also connects and is on 12 hour. Will check if that’s what’s happening.

Someone else had a post where their clock kept resetting itself to the wrong time. I suspect it has to do with auto time sync and your local cell tower (it syncs via the OTA modem). But I can’t confirm that. Yours sounds more like a Sync 4 bug but the first I’ve heard of it.

When my Bronco was in for repair for 9 weeks, my clock reverted back to 24 hr. I suspect it had something to do with the battery going to 'battery save mode' while sitting without running so long. There were a couple other things that changed too. but I went into settings and corrected them. They are all good now.

Never had an issue with the Bronco. But my Sync4 F-150 will revert back to 12-hr time after an OTA update.

I have exactly the same issue on my 2025 Bronco. It keeps resetting to 12h format and I have to set it to 24h (when I remember to do it) on every car start. This is so annoying. Also when I try to activate a second toggle which is something about "setting time automatically" it immediately turns off, like it's impossible to set time automatically. Have you found a solution to this?

Phone is on 24 hour but my wife’s phone also connects and is on 12 hour. Will check if that’s what’s happening.

I just got a 25 Bad Sas and also military and it is driving me nuts when it reverts back.

I've also noticed this since I got my 2025 a few weeks ago. Super annoying and haven't found a workaround.

When I was at Headquarters USMC Dept of Aviation in the 80's we did a study to see what the analog, manual winding, 7 day cockpit clock should by replaced with. The fixed wing multi engine community was happy with the current analog, the jet fast movers wanted to go digital with all the bells and whistles calculating fuel burn, time on target, etc., .... the helicopter guys just wanted a calendar.

2025 Bad SAS here. Same issue. Ford is aware. They did not fix it on the last OTA.
