The sub performs really well and I did not need to install aftermarket amp. Matter of fact it was so much kick to it I had to reduce my eq bass setting down to -3, -4.
Notable difference with upgrade soakers front and back.
B&o 2025. Just replaced speakers all around with trail seven uograde with 5 Alpine speakers upfrontt. SSW rear pods. Kicker comp-r dual coil 8in.
Sounds flawless all the way to 30. My bass eq bar on Ford sync is at -4.
How did you pry out the beauty ring on the Sub without damaging the unit? Also, what wiring harness/adapter did you use from the Ford connector for the dual coil to the sub?
Much appreciate your feedback, thing is sitting all apart in the driveway cuz I hit a roadblock. Thought about splicing...
DSP is a module that processes the digital signal. It replaces the factory equalization so you can customize the output signals to user preference + speaker & amp capabilities.
digital signal processor = DSP
I’ve done other tunes before on the F150 and it was easy to uninstall and do a few key cycles before taking it in. But since my Bad Sas is brand new I’m trying not to fuck with it myself anytime soon.
I’m trying to get my dealer to install this for me but they keep hitting me with some insane numbers that it would take HOURS to install. Can anyone confirm what was the installation price for this?
does it have to be a dealer or ase certified person?
