Hey folks. With the crazy cold and icy streets I'm looking at recovery kits. I've been looking at the Rhino kinetic rope products and soft shackles. Looking for recommendations on brands and what specs you look for.

Decide what kind of recoveries you will be performing and educate yourself on the different equipment for them.
Tow straps, snatch straps, kinetic ropes all serve a different purpose.
Also be aware of size. Bigger is not better in recovery gear, it should be sized appropriately to the weight class of the vehicles being recovered.
Lot of good education material online.

Be sure it has both working load limit and breaking strength on the label and be sure to understand the difference.
I won’t recommend any brand, lots of good brands to choose from.
