Definitely. Ford of Blue Ridge, GA.Sketchy
Oh shit! They are shady as hell. I went and looked at a 2004 superduty they had. Let's just say the engine had all the 6.0 warning signs.Definitely. Ford of Blue Ridge, GA.
Still not as bad as Shottenkirk Ford of Jasper. They took $4,500 of my father's money to fix a number of issues. He got it back and 5 minutes down the road had a bunch of CEL again. I pulled codes in FDRS and among them was a parts mismatch code. Meaning they didnt even install correct/matching parts to what they replaced. Unfortunately ya'll are in a loose-loose up there, unless you drive into Atlanta.Oh shit! They are shady as hell. I went and looked at a 2004 superduty they had. Not really, but between the video and Ducati's explanation, I eventually got it. Hold the wiper arm with your left hand and the blade with your right. Pull the blade parallel to the window towards the passenger side. When it feels like it's not working and you're going to break something, pull harder. Eventually it will pop free and move about 1/4" to the right. Then it pretty much slides off easily towards the window.Maybe I missed something but the vid doesn't actually SHOW how it's removed, just tells you? Don't need to do it yet myself but it's something I'll need to do at some point.
There’s really no good way to show it because the arm doesn’t move very far away from the glass.Maybe I missed something but the vid doesn't actually SHOW how it's removed, just tells you? Don't need to do it yet myself but it's something I'll need to do at some point.
Yeah, I watched this crappy video before coming here. Hence the reason I’m still looking
https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...ingEnabled=False&userMarket=usa&buildtype=webOK I know I'm going to feel stupid when somebody answers this, but how on Earth do you remove the rear wiper blade?
Mine is completely shot and has strands of rubber dangling. But I can't figure out how to remove it. I've tried pulling, pushing, twisting, sliding, looking for release tabs, and pretty much everything. I even watched a couple of youtube videos but nothing seems to help. It's like the darn thing is welded on there! This is embarrassing. I'm at the point where I actually spent a few minutes thinking it might be easier to replace the entire arm just to get a new blade on it. What do I do???
You canI wish I could just take the whole arm off.....rear window wiper is something I would NEVER use....
I know, I was being somewhat snarky. But it's one of those things that I question.....do I really want to do that? You can
Just found this thread and like you, it took a lot of force and nothing happenedIt’s off! But it took a ridiculous amount of force. Probably in the neighborhood of 75-80 pounds. Once it popped free the first time it became much easier to get the blade on and off.
