Hi there. This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you with this rattle concern on my end.
Thanks for accepting my information. I have DM'd you.

I find it amazing that everyone keeps saying that this is an issue because of having frameless windows. I’ve owned several Mustangs and two Shelby GT-500s and I cannot for the life of me remember having an issue with ANY of those vehicles. Is is NOT a frameless issue, it is an ENGINEERING and DESIGN issue that can be fixed.
I'm late to this thread, but was thinking the same thing when I got to your post. My 55 year old '67 Camaro has frameless windows, and they have never rattled when rolled partially down, or all the way down. And, it's been in the family 49 of those 55 years.

My friend just took his two door back to the dealership and refused to buy it because of this and other issues appearing on the forum here. Yes, the dealer won’t care, and I know that they will make money, but that’s a list customer for life. I’m taking mine for a long drive before paperwork starts (especially since there have been none to test drive).

Just found a fix on Bronco Nation. You take panel off and spray spray foam into all internal components, reattach door quickly. Leave window up at all times, and if you have them, push some shims from the gasket down. Hope that helps.

With front windows partially down in my Badlands, they rattle so much that it sounds like they will break when going over bumps. Anyone else having this issue?
This is something that is known and has been discussed multiple times. It's an unwanted side effect of having frameless windows.

Having driven the Bronco for a while now, I highly doubt this will ever cause them to break. Maybe during a collision or jumping the Bronco could flex them enough to break.

Anyone who answers no on the survey is clueless and didn't understand the question or is trolling. Every Bronco will do this.
I agree with you on the fact that all Bronco's will do this because it's well documented.

But I disagree with your statement that it''s an unwanted side effect of frameless windows. With the exception of Jeep just about every convertible out there, that I can think of, uses frameless windows.

I've driven an Audi S5 convertible fo the 10 Years and prior to the a BMW Z3 never had any window rattle issues.

This is an engineering issue.

I don’t know where that BS of “it just what you get with frameless windows” started. But it’s complete BS that just gets parroted around.

It’s a design/engineering issue. Other convertibles don’t have that problem.

It’s just a convenient excuse and easy way for Ford to say we’re not/can’t fix the issue

I don't have my bronco yet, but one of my cars is a G35 coupe, which has frameless windows. If I have them partially cracked and go over a hard bump it will rattle. I'm not sure if thats normal or not, its my first vehicle with frameless windows - also its 16 years old.

I was wondering if we could put a piece of felt on the b pillar maybe that would help ease the slapping sound?

Forgive my being direct, but you’re stastement that anyone who answers no to the survey is clueless demonstrates your ignorance and arrogance that you somehow know more than every other Bronco owner. 🙄
My Bronco Badlands does not, I repeat does not have an issue with rattling windows when they are partially down. Not the front, not the rear. Why?…I have no idea and don’t give a rats ass why, but they don’t.

I suspect the original poster of this thread had an open mind when he created the survey, something you could apparently benefit from as well.

I mean the TSB ford created acknowledging this is a real issue says “Some Broncos”. 😂

Every Bronco will do this.
This is the wrong take. Case & point: my driver window is totally fine. Passenger window COMPLETELY different. Insanely loud rattles while driving with it partially down, very loud rattles opening and closing the door (window fully up), etc.

Again, driver’s side window doesn’t have the issue. That is to say, whatever “inherent window rattling design issue” you’re describing is independent of several owners’ experience with particularly f***ed up windows.

Same but opposite. My driver rattles when opening door or partially open when driving. Passenger fine.

It's possible. But if this is an actual problem that Ford can fix then I'd rather that.

This is an engineering issue.

It seems all Broncos may not do it. So I'd rather be wrong and have a fix for the windows. While the rattling is not a concern of mine it is a bit annoying.

I made my statement a bit too ambiguous when referring to frameless windows. I meant it was an unwanted side effect of frameless windows on the Bronco. If the Bronco had traditional framed windows, it would have an additional channel window to fit in and this may not have ever been a thing. I'm sure it could be better engineered. But, this may be a fixable issue now.

Multiple people on here seem to think I implied that all vehicles ever made with frameless windows have this problem and that's just how it is. That is not the case.

That's a fair statement. I've been wrong plenty of times. In this case, I'd rather be wrong and get a correct fix for it. I don't feel like my window is going to shatter or anything, but I'd be happy to have it fixed.
