Our Bronco has a super annoying rattle/paper-flapping sound under the dash at speed. I have zip-tied everything off that seems loose including the hvac vent, cut off all the paper tags on all of the lines under the hood, and cannot figure it out. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nope. There is a large rubber grommet in the firewall behind the driver dash - you can see it from under the hood if you look at the driver side firewall. It's near the upfitter wiring if you have the upfitters.. I would check there. Direct path into the engine bay and quite a lot of noise can make it in if that grommet is missing.

Also, the clasp cover above the drivers head can vibrate and cause sounds quite easily that sound like they're coming from random places in the passenger compartment. Give it a wiggle and see if it moves quite a bit. I have a hardtop, so I can only assume its the same in the soft top.

Hey there! I can look into your Bronco’s rattle concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Did you ever resolve this?
I imagine its similar to the rattle I see being reported elsewhere on the site.

Could be a mispositioned shifter cable

I’m experiencing this same issue underneath the drivers dash. I’d typically happens when the vehicle loses traction or is at full articulation.

and no it isn’t a tire rubbing. It’s a metallic vibration. Very annoying when it’s supposed to be relative smooth through the rough stuff.

Went to the dealership twice and they were unable to replicate the issue. My third try is this Friday and I will be taking them for a drive.

This has been an issue since new.

Every 1,000 miles I get a new squeak rattle or moan. Never had a new vehicle do this and I’m not really 4-wheeling it. Latest is I think the back seat squeaking when I hit a bump

Yup. It’s a running joke with my wife - as soon as I get the last rattle fixed, it’s a matter of hours before a new one pops up someplace

I've been experiencing this as well. Typically hear it at speeds 50mph or higher. Likely something with the airflow under the hood but I've tied down everything and it's still there! Help Ford!

Just had the same thing happen on my ‘22 Big Bend. Seems to be driver’s side and mostly when I hit 2200 RPM then goes away at 3400 RPM. Did anyone get any answers?

I fixed something similar to this, by the driver's left foot there is kind of like a push pin connector securing a wire. Mine was not deeply seated, I pushed it and then a particular rattle went away for me.

Now it seems to be any time I accelerate. If I'm idle it fine.

Has anyone figured out what this was or a solution? I have had this happening with mine as well and have yet to figure it out.

I too thought I had a rattle coming from under the dash. Usually would present around 45-55 mph and go away.
Turns out, it was my airbag. Though it sounded like it was coming from lower - I found that if I just put a little pressure on the center of the steering wheel, the rattle would go away.
But once I took my hand off of it, it came back.
You all could have another issue entirely, but this was my experience.
