We are taking ours in for that Jan 5th no issues with ours on that tho. I believe that is for a softwear update for that.
Yes, instrument panel recall is just a software update. Be aware, though, the service department said that it was a "6-9 hour job." I struggle to understand why a software update would take that long.

Did the dealer discover the cause of the chirping noise? I have a one month old '25 Big Bend making that sound at startup. It does go away after a few minutes. I read in another forum that the body control module (under the dash) or relays cycling are likely the cause. In those cases, the dealer states it is normal operation.

Hey just noticed mine does it too! As it is the ā€˜waste-gate actuator’ I am impressed by it.

ā€Baby want to hear my waste-gate actuator?ā€
ā€Get away from me you freakā€.

They need your Bronco to run errands, get lunch for the crew, and pick up the kids from school.

They used an outside contractor with a laptop and cables to do my last software fix. It never went to the service bay. Wouldn’t be surprised if many dealers do that. So they probably wait until they have a handful of Broncos needing the software patch and then the contractor drives in to do a bunch at once. He’s not bringing the paperwork back to the counter to say any one of them is ā€œdoneā€ until he’s done them all or as many as he wants. I was sitting at the dealer for a couple of hours observing this.
