  1. PSA: Ford Performance ProCal -- 25% Off via Ford (Code: POWER25)

Appreciate the perspective, but I do not believe you should be scared of running 87 octane even on an engine with the Ford Performance Calibration. This is an OEM-warrantied tune. The ECU will be able to handle 87 octane. Agreed that you've likely wasted money on the tune if you're running 87...
  2. [New Product Launch] Broaddict Overhead MOLLE Panel System—Your Bronco’s Most Useful Space May Be Over Your Head

Fair. I thought I'd seen 15-20% 2 dr for production somewhere. ChatGPT says 25-30%. Still a much larger pool of 4 dr Broncos out there. Gotta get the kids on the trail as well!
  3. PSA: Ford Performance ProCal -- 25% Off via Ford (Code: POWER25)

Not sure this is accurate. The ECU can definitely handle pulling timing far longer than the occasional oopsie. Knock sensor is an integral part of control strategy for GTDi engines. If this was an actual concern, the ProCal page wouldn't say "premium fuel required for maximum performance."
  4. [New Product Launch] Broaddict Overhead MOLLE Panel System—Your Bronco’s Most Useful Space May Be Over Your Head

Haha. 80-85% purchase rate on 4dr might be your first clue. Even if 2dr owners are more likely to take it off road, there's a much larger pool of 4dr owners out there.
  5. Filson Brand - Not a Good Start

That is disappointing. I've had a medium rugged twill Filson duffle that I've used often for the past 13 years. It is a very stout piece. . . . and I just looked at the current price of that item. Holy hell.
  6. PSA: Ford Performance ProCal -- 25% Off via Ford (Code: POWER25)

It won't hurt the engine. Modern boosted engines are already living at the knock limit.
  7. Wire management tips/suggestions?

Excellent suggestions. I *love* Deutsch connectors. Just one note on the bussed connectors - they have a current limit for the connector (13A for the DT series) that is easy to exceed if you were to power a lot of devices. For example, it wouldn't be hard to overload a 1x6 (let alone a 1x12, the...
  8. Wolfbox HyperFlow X 12V Twin Motor On-Board Air Compressor install

65A of current draw is a lot. Depending on where it is mounted you might need more than the 10 AWG wiring they provide. https://circuitwizard.bluesea.com/
  9. New: A Complete Starlink Mini Mounting Lineup — Locking Mount, OMS Kit & Magnetic Surface Mount

Awesome. Ordered the universal mount and the converter.
  10. New: A Complete Starlink Mini Mounting Lineup — Locking Mount, OMS Kit & Magnetic Surface Mount

Very cool. Do you have a source for the step-up converter that can be used with the universal locking mount? It looks like a pretty clean option for power.
  11. TrailRax Racks Now Fit ALL Painted Hardtops 🎉

I ask because we installed a TrailRax on our '25 with a painted top. When I ordered it there was no indication that there might be an issue with a painted top. It appeared to install ok, but now I'm concerned.
  12. TrailRax Racks Now Fit ALL Painted Hardtops 🎉

    What is the change?
  13. INSTALLED! 2 DOOR Drawer system - STROPPE EDITION -

Beautiful. That looks like a $500 box of McMaster goodies. Haha. Have you rattle-tested it yet? Or is that after powdercoating and foam?
  14. California American Adventure Lab Fire Extinguisher Roll Bar Mount - $40

Correct, it does not include shipping.
  15. California Sold: American Adventure Lab Fire Extinguisher Roll Bar Mount - $40

Barely used AAL fire extinguisher mount. With two sets of hose clamps. $40 OBO.
  16. Badlands Question

Haha. If we had more dunes out here I could definitely see the appeal of a Raptor. Sierras are rocky, though, so that's our primary play area. And the trails can be narrow.
  17. Badlands Question

We ordered a '25 Badlands Sasquatch w/ Lux and HOSS 3.0. Got the employee pricing when that was offered last summer. Over my wife's objections we went with the washout interior (she really wanted leather and power seats). To me, this is the perfect spec. This may be an unpopular take, but to me...
  18. ARB Air Coupling, Antenna location

The Apex stuff is pretty. I'd already committed to a Morrflate system, but I kinda wish I'd found Apex first.
