The mirror has two swivel joints (ball joint)... One next to the window and one next to the mirror... You can move the mirror left and right and align it to the center. clears both visors but just barely.

It took me searching Youtube to figure this out after my windshield replacement, when I no longer had clearance on the driver’s side. Kinda felt dumb afterwards for not figuring it out on my own, but at least the problem was fixed.

Got my adapter today and it worked! I was able to reinstall the factory mirror that I had removed over a year ago. The mirror no longer gets in the way of the visors. That was driving me nuts! Now I get the auto dim feature back!

Just ordered. Not sure if I have defective visors but whenever I put either side’s visor down, they hit the sides of the rear view mirror. I switched it out months ago for a smaller mirror, so hoping this might help and I can reinstall the original. Worth a shot.

Received the adapter today and now have my factory mirror reinstalled. The visors clear it perfectly and I have better visibility, plus I have the auto dim feature back! The replacement mirror I had was smaller with the flip lever on the bottom. Thx for this idea
