Quick fuse tap question

Getting ready to install a mod tomorrow that need acc power and looking to use a fuse in the engine bay box. I DO NOT have upfitter switches so is there any reason I can't use the fuse slots for the individual upfitter switches (60-65). Are these switched locations? I don't have a multimeter to test. I would assume they would be.

I don’t think those positions in the fuse box are wired for power if you don’t have the factory switches.

I use the Camera fuse for ACC power

Do yourself a favor and purchase a meter, it’s a tool you’re have for the rest of your life. Though all of mine are high quality Fluke meters they start at $12 on Amazon...

Yeah I was highly considering that since many people reported not having enough space to get the fuse tap wire out without notching the fuse box lid. But then I've seen many various install vids were people don't have issues, so I'm gonna see what I can do first. If nothing else, it'll make it look nicer.
