You're fine. Every grab handle thread devolves into this at some point.

I haven't seen any factory grab handles for sale. I think i saw someone on here add his own factory style grab handles from another ford car to his bronco, but i think it was in the passenger B pillar. I kind of forget, it was a while ago.
For grab handles you have the rope kind, or solid kind. That's all I'm aware of

These are some of the closest I've seen https://agency6.com/collections/for...le-assembly-front-pair?variant=44212330660089
Thanks, I've seen those and they look good but I'd much rather have a plastic, or plastic covered, handle just because grabbing a cold aluminum handle is not fun (everybody go ahead call me names, I'll cop to all of them).

It appears that I've picked the wrong thread to tag on to, I'm looking for recommendations for overhead handles matching as closely as possible the existing factory grab handles. If anyone has suggestions that'd be great. I may need to start a new thread.
I would have purchased those if Ford offered them. The ones I bought don't look like the other grab handles in the vehicle, but they do look like they could be OEM, if that makes sense. I like that they are high quality, and they are black and out-of-the-way, so they aren't really noticed. They are hard, though. They are $66 on Amazon now--$10 in tariffs added since I bought 1 year ago.

Thanks is the handle surface covered by rubber or plastic?

For what it’s worth, I’ve never actually used my overhead grab handles to get in.

It’s way easier to use the factory lower handles.

Same, only needed for access the top (washing) or switching (dual top).

Came to the conclusion that if my head were to hit the metal handle, then it’s also hitting the roof, which means I’m flipped over. Considering the soft top nature of the car, I decided the ground is likely to punch my ticket over the handles.

The roll bars protect you in the event you are upside down…at least on a flat surface.
