PPF For Tailgate Lip

My top edge or lip on my tailgate has had paint rub off. The corners where it made contact with the soft top gasket. The paint has been corrected but I’d like to add some added protection for the same spot.
Anyone know of a kit or something that would work?

There’s supposed to be a repair available for this shortly. It’s a known issue.

I just put a strip of thin weatherstripping on mine, helped with some of the noise there too

That SSM is still the most current information.
Ford isn’t very reliable at all on their timelines to release a repair. Knowing them this repair won’t be out until Q3 of 2026

Just buy some ppf, cut it to size, and slap it on. I ppf'd the bottom of the tailgate where it meets the bed, never thought to to the top
