I’m just curious what people think of my custom vinyl hood lip protection. I tried to integrate it with the grill. I used the same material on the bump. I’m pretty satisfied. Wondering how it strikes others.

So just to clarify, is this is a soft vinyl decal type application rather than a rigid deflector at the front lip? Basically a black PPF?

Looks good. I went with the ridged deflector mainly for deflect rocks and I sects works well plus saved enough on PPF to pay for the B&C brace.

Correct. Just matte black vinyl.
I know it won’t protect from the bigger rocks. But I’m not a fan of the lexan shields, so thought this might be better than nothing. And I kind of like the look.

It’s probably easier on your hood paint than a hard one. I only ever tried a hard deflector once on a Tacoma. It was a dealer accessory, and it made the hood buffet badly at highway speed. Got a refund.

Tim, I really like the look of your raptor besides the hood what else have you done to it? Also I love that wheels.
I just added the lights upfront...it came wrapped with the wheels.
