Looking for advice on what to treat my interior with ahead of the spring/summer with my top and doors off.. preventative maintenance/extend the life..

Have the leather interior, no bimini… no garage.. so it’s going to be exposed to a ton of sunlight when I’m unable to park in the shade. Anything to help from fading the shit out of my interior?

was thinking of wiping down the seats with some Mink oil to prevent it from drying out/cracking.. (which I use for leather boots/belts etc.) but I’m sure there’s some other products available.. and the seats are only leather trimmed.. so not sure how that works for vinyl - or much of the plastic in the interior.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations

I have used Lexol, both the cleaner and conditioner, on all of my cars for years, one is a convertible along with a couple other convertibles before my current one and haven't had any issues with cracking and drying out.

That said, I don't typically leave those cars parked in the sun with the top down for any real length of time.

There are a lot of good products out there. I've read positive reviews on Honey Leather cleaner, Chemical Guys and Weiman's, but don't have any first-hand experience.

i would 100% get a bikini top first and foremost...
Yeah, that right there - anything to reduce the amount of sun/UV exposure helps with the efficacy of whatever treatment is applied to protect against what remains. OP might want to consider seat covers as well.

I’ve use all the products that money can buy. I’m currently using the 303 leather protectant. I think beyond one specific product it’s more important to just be consistent with whichever product you choose. In my experience none of the products I’ve used far and away out perform another. It more comes down to cost, smell, consistency of the product, and if the product is able to last for a week or two.

I use 303 on vinyl and rubber. I see they have a product for leather now as mentioned above. I would buy a cheap lightweight cover.
