So, anyone see any noticeable differences with 4.2.2.1 installed?
I was hoping it would help with the skipping/drop outs in Car Play (it's a point release, if they're following semver, which suggests a bugfix). For a day or so it seemed more stable. Then last night it glitched out for about a minute (meaning, Apple+ froze several times). I didn't need to hard reboot my phone for it come back, though.

So, who knows what it's doing.

I had this problem... went into the vehicle setting on the radio and did a system reset which fixed all that. You may want to try it.

The only frustration is that this process will unregister your Bronco from Fordpass, so you'll have to go back in a re-register it afterwards.

Hopefully that fixes your issue.

I see no discernable change.
I don't see a discernible difference, but I might "Feel" one. My Carplay used to take 30+ seconds after plugging in an iphone to load Carplay which is ridiculously long. After this most recent update, it seems to load Carplay within just a couple of seconds.

Here is is again. Maybe I didn't post it in this thread yet.

I have never seen this method, so I am going to try it. Seems too easy. I will report back... As my wireless updates has worked only 1 time in 2 years.

Looks like my 2021 continues to play hard to get. It just doesn't want to do OTA updates, despite trying this over the past 24 hours. It keeps telling me that my software is up to date. LMFAO, meanwhile, my 2023 Bronco already updated to 4.2.2.1 a few days ago.

Video did say wait up to 3 days. That could also be business days if the reports have to be read by a person. Then it said repeat the process if updates didn't come.

They removed the power up updates wiki so we don't know what is current for each model year Bronco.

BTW, my 2023 Bronco (Lux) is at 4.2.1.1 and that is up to date.
