I believe that power to the windows is cut the moment you open the door - will need to check. Also each window needs to be triggered individually. Last but not least there are cases where you may not want to close the windows before leaving the vehicle, say if it a balmy 115F outside, you have a kid or dog in the back seat and groceries in the trunk. Or, if you are absent-minded like me and routinely forget to roll up all the windows before you leave the vehicle.Odd, i just usually hit the one touch window up when i park on all the windows that are down before i exit the vehicle. Never thought to ever want to use the lock button on the door to roll them up. I dont even use the lock button on the door to lock the doors. I use either the fob or the sensor on the handle. Interesting use case though. I guess I'm used to some of my previous cars not liking trying to lock the door while its open, with the button, before closing the door.
