First off, all temps are in Celsius...
Never really had an issue before, but noticed the truck always showed about a 2 degree difference in temp compared to Android Auto.
Tonight is bitter cold.... But the Bad Mule has seen these temps before... No prior issue.
HVAC works with data from this outside temp sensor. If I turn the temp on anything below full "hi", it wants to turn the AC on! Even when I switch off the AC, COLD air.
In manual, same deal. Only get heat when the temp knob is on hi.
First I noticed it, it was reading about 10 degrees.... When I got home, over 40 degrees!

My Fusion did this when the temp sensor went (or wasn't quite plugged in tightly after a bumper removal to upgrade headlights) but it always just showed 50* Yours seems like more of a calibration or software glitch.

Just talking with another Bronco owner on FB (from Ontario) who has the same issue. His app gave him an error though. Mine hasn't... Yet.

Just an update... Second visit to dealer. They tore into the drivers mirror after verifying the wiring/plug was okay. I was told "there is a chip in the sensor", as in damage to the sensor itself.
Can't imagine how this could happen, apart from assembly of the mirror/installation of the sensor, @Ford Motor Company?
I am not the only person to have this failure in the Bronco.

They said the part would be a day or two...
We'll see...
Tomorrow I go to Tuxmat and get the Bronco scanned for their product 👍🏻

Funny this came up, I have a 4 door base and my outside temp was reading a 100 degrees today. The actual temperature was like 25 degrees, guess I will be making an appointment with the dealer

Hmm wonder if mine is dying. I noticed a discrepancy as well. Android auto was telling me it was -7 out (which it was) but the Bronco thought it was +3.

Mine is reading 10 degrees high but it’s just started this in the last few days. This really smells like a software issue not a chipped sensor hardware issue on mine. It was fine since pick up in July 21 to about a week ago.

I noticed this weekend at the Off-Rodeo in Moab, the bronco we were driving was reading about 20 degrees above ambient temp while we were out on the trails. Essentially running the AC on full blast all day. Once we got on the highway, it dropped backed to normal.
