More like a mis-remembering of the Paul Bunyan story. His big blue Ox was actually named Babe but I always thought he should have just named him BLUE. So it was “Ole Blue” or a completely ancient reference from Romancing The Stone that no one would have gotten. That Bronco reference was “My Little Mule, Pepe” but that had the OJ body style. I make music though so I can dig a folk song backstory!
