Expressway ? Sounds a lot like mall crawling. The real test of a Bronco is on dirt while in 4LO. Try that and report back on what noises you hear.

She definitely is not a mall crawler just got back from Silverlake, but besides the point, I’m just trying to figure it out, bud.

Is the car bouncing or on flat ground?

Do you happen to have roof rack? If so could something be loose enough to vibrate at higher speed. Or possibly the cowling at bottom of windshield? Ya that would drive me crazy. Is it always happening at about the same speed, I know u mentioned expressway.

Sounds like a loose heat shield perhaps around the transmission / transfer case? Maybe the wind is letting it brush up against a driveshaft or knuckle? Or maybe loose side step bolt? It sounds like something light medal to me, not a heavy thunk thunk, but a ting ting.

Sounds like a suspension, body mount, or crossmember bolt causing the noise as you drive over irregularities in the road. Get a breaker bar and some sockets and check all the bolts you can get to.
