Does my BD 2024 have a way of telling me I’m inclined too much (horizontally). In other words, at what point to I tip over?

Yes, it starts tipping. You probably would like to know before it reaches that point.

There's an inclinometer built into the off road display. Play with it.

Different vehicles will have different angles based on height, accessories, etc. And the angle changes a bit based on movement too.

I’ve hit 30’ sideways and had to change my pants, but didn’t tip. But I wouldn’t claim that as any sort of limit

What they said at Off Roadeo- the riders will freak out before the Bronco will roll over. And that’s pretty much true.

At the offroadeo the most I remember getting sideway was 23 degrees and that felt really bad.

Is the OP talking about going ul z very steep climb? That's how I read inclination. I would say roll or tip for a side tilting condition.

If you’re going to criticize someone’s word choice, you might at least check your own post for typos. 😉

“Side slope” or I suppose “sideways incline“ would be more clear.

OP here’s a good article that highlights that there really isn’t a set side slope limit before rolling. Too dynamic a situation. Probably best to keep below 30deg but you’ll get nervous well before that.

Vertical-wise.. I dunno. Been on some pretty steep stuff and the tires lose grip before it gets anywhere near to going ass over teakettle. But I have a 4-door and we are just superior that way. Sideways is the one that always worries me, it's way to easy for that angle to get steep fast if you have the wheels turned or drop down off a rock ledge or something.

28 degrees is the most offcamber I’ve been for more than a few seconds. Extremely uncomfortable feeling, but exhilarating once through it

I did not feel like the Bronco wanted to roll at that angle

I remember side slope was mentioned at Off-Roadeo. Unfortunately I can't remember what was said. Maybe someone else remembers?

CalvinT's clip above is where I'm cautious. When the ass gets light on a descent, and the weight of the motor pulls down into a drop, that when the bronco feels she's ready to tip.

Lol this is what almost happened to me last month. I slid down a rock popped off a running board bolt and while having a pretty large vertical incline we also tipped horizontally. My stomach did a few thousand somersaults and my wife and kid lost their minds but we made it. I wish i knew how many degrees we were each way but i was too focused on not rolling over.
