We've all seen OTA updates coming quick and steady recently... Even if Ford still generally keeps us in the dark about the specifics...
Today, I noticed a new welcome animation when getting in my 2024 HE....
I guess they're just trying to keep it fresh?

I never setup wifi, so I guess my Bronco still has the original 04/2023 build software. If it ain't t broke ...
I think it can still update over cellular...? The same way your app connects to your Bronco 🤷🏻

I know in Forscan you have the ability to change the welcome screen, I wonder if it will still be available. I always liked the rolling rocks but on my Maverick I changed the boring Ford logo welcome screen to a Cobra Ford Performance welcome screen I guess is used on Mustangs.

Yeah blocking wifi won't do anything, the updates are all downloaded via the cellular connection in the vehicle.

I assume they changed it so that it'll match the new digital gauge cluster on the 2025s

I've seen a lot of threads about this so far. For what it's worth, I've never had the rolling rocks on my Job 2 '24, and I think they're kinda goofy! I'll take my fadehorse.

It's all in the company you keep. I was ducked last weekend after being the only Bronco on the trail . It's sitting in my shop and not in the Bronco though, LOL.

Who's cellular connection - Fords? On Ford's dime? I never connected wifi, or sync, or the app or any of that stuff. I've never gotten any message on my Bronco of an update. Maybe I can check somewhere on the Bronco dash screen, and find some version number of the software?
Correct, we’re not paying for it. But that’s how FordPass on your phone is able to connect to your vehicle if you set it up. As for the version, it’s in Settings -> General -> About SYNC I believe. Most recent version is 24XXX. You can also see if you’ve ever gotten updates by going to Settings -> Software Updates -> Update Details
