Did anyone else get this one? Doesn’t seem to be related to the camera recall.

I got that one long ago. Just got one on 3/29 - Sync 25.2.1.6.5.2

Apparently it "ensures optimal performance of your vehicle's SiriusXM service." Of course, I can't tell a difference since I don't use Sirius.

someone in this forum a while ago checked whether my Bronco was awaiting updates and the one they saw was something similar to this. I’m wondering if this was it. The interesting thing is that I received the Sync update in January. Before this one.

I just got that one the other day, too. Coincidentally, my Android Auto keeps dropping/connecting now.

I got this update 11-25-2024, it removed the window 1/4" rolldown when you unlock the doors on the fob and removed the rolling rocks that turn into a Bronco when you get into the vehicle. Fun Times

Got that last August. Did nothing that I could detect.

I still have rolling rocks. Never noticed the 1/4 drop and glad it doesn’t

That is an old TCU (modem) update first reported in September of 2024.

@GoHawks63 APIM update SYNC-25.2.1.6.5.2 will be the next one you get. No way of knowing when it will be sent, though.

Well I did get a Sync update in January. Is it possible that the Sync update downloaded before this latest one? I am not near my Bronco so I can't go and check what version it's on.

Yes, the OTA you got in January was 10.1.0 which is also an APIM update that precedes the TCU update you just got. Certain modules (GWM, APIM, TCU and sometimes IPC) need to be updated in a particular sequence, so that is perfectly normal behavior.

I haven't seen the falling rocks in a long time, so I must be getting updates, but I don't get a lot of messages from the Ford app, even when I think I should, like when the perimeter alarm goes off because a motorcycle drove past...

I just received my first Ford app message last week since I took delivery in January '22 (deep sleep alert). IMO the app is pretty wonky.

I forgot to remove my Raptor from the app after I traded it in, and my god, that vehicle generated error messages non-stop. It was an amazing Bronco, but it looks like I dodged a bullet on that one.

The best part is that you can't tell which vehicle is generating the message. You just have one bucket of messages without any indicator for which vehicle the message pertains.

Yeah this is annoying, I have fleet trucks in on my app, and it will just say "Check Engine"... and there's 15 vehicles on my account.
