What are you towing with currently? Bronco is heavy, well powdered and crap brakes.

My biggest issue is tongue length, I stretches my little crap trailer out enough I can use the back door. Most people can't open the rear with a trailer hooked up and the 4 doors become much more useful. I would think things through as your going to spend some money sorting out your tow hook up. Note the long drop hitch, it's my 3rd one trying to get the right clearance from the spare.

How much of a drop is that hitch?

Just look at the loan terms and verify no early payoff penalty. I have not heard of a new car loan in years that has a early payoff penalty.
Yes they need you to make a few payments, if you think they treated you fair make the first 3 payments before payoff, no matter what you end up paying they are making money on the Bronco without the finance kickbacks.
Simple interest loans can be paid off at any time. No waiting. Pay it off as soon as you get the account number or call the bank its thru and do it then.

The bronco I had my eyes on got sold so back to looking online again . I want the hoss3 steering stuff so looking at wildtracks . I plan on pulling the occasional 5x10 trailer since I do occasional gun shows and am undecided weather to get two doors or four. Big difference in pulling trailers with two door ? Two doors just look sooo frigging Cool... Opinions please . Oh yeah . Do dealers work with you if you pay in full ? I hate payments and giving extra money to finance companies.
DO NOT TELL THEM YOU ARE PAYING UPFRONT. Negotiate it down as far as you can. Interest rates are high and nobody is selling crap. Get your "out the door" price first.

This - car buying 101. Be non- committal until you are sure the out the door price is as low as possible (you’ll likely need to give the vibe you are leaning toward financing to get the price down). DO pay cash if you can but don’t say that is what you are doing until you sit down with finance manager to wrap things up.

4 door is going to tow a little better but sounds like not a huge deal for what you are doing. I will say the extra cargo space in the 4 door has come in quite handy (I also debated going the 2 door route). The Bronco is smaller than you realize on the inside when you have to live with it everyday. Waaaay more accessories and options for upgrades with the 4 door too.

I have the sas suspension on my truck but with 33” tires (so about 1” lower than a standard sas Bronco) and I use an 8” drop hitch. My trailer does sit a little lower to ground than most so I think an 8” drop with standard sas package is probably about perfect for most trailers to sit nice and level… guess you’d have to take some measurements to be sure. The big tire on the rear hatch prevents you from being able to use the adjustable height hitches which is kind of annoying.

On the trailer thing , the kit Ford sells comes with the hitch and a little module you plug in behind a panel in the cargo compartment , will the 4way plug work without the module ? I found the hitches alone way cheaper.

Do you think if I hit them 10 grand cheaper than MSRP or is that laughable ? Truck I want is at 62k . Hit them hard and see what they say ,? Or would that be bad etiquette? The person I used to get advice from has passed away (my dad) so I am asking my fellow brethern. You guys answers have been great so far.. my appointment is at 10'30 ish

No, you must install the module for lights, and it needs to be programmed.

I was looking in March, they wanted sticker, went back in May, the Bronco was on the lot since February, they accepted a Zplan, 3k less plus $750 rebate, best I could do at the time.

Light towing with a 2 or 4 door should be fine. I towed a 5 X 8 Landscape trailer and a 16' boat with a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ, no problems at all. I would not tow more than 2000 LBS though. I plan to tow a very light trailer with paddle boards or kayaks long distance when I retire next year. I am going to buy a folding trailer and customize it with racks and a small floor area for a cooler & other things. It was either do this and keep the Bronco or buy an F150. It would have been easier to just buy a new F150 and put everything in the bed but the cost and the fact I love the Bronco too much I am going the trailer route.

I pulled this a little over 500 miles with our old Wiltrak. Also had stuff loaded in the back of the Bronco.
Handled it like wasn't there. Even got 17 mpg at 55mph (max speed per uhaul).
Used an adjustable drop hitch.
