Put on the "Braptor" boards from some Bronco Buttercup website today. Not bad $500, don't need the rock rails for them to install. Took about 30 minutes with 20 fasteners total for a 2 door. They have a decent Rhino Liner type finish, maybe a bit tougher but not scratchy. Went on pretty easily. Ford wanted similar ones I was looking at off the Stroppe but those would have been $1300 or more to do that. These are fine for my Base. Keeps the rocks off the doors from the tires and wife can get in easier. Very sturdy since I am 275lbs and they don't flex at all with me jumping on them. Hardware seems to be all stainless. Now I am done.... I do have the Auto Stop Eliminator arriving Monday so then, for sure, I think, maybe yes, I am done.... I will unscrew and take off the "Braptor" logo that is on these boards. I don't like words on my clean Bronco. Just me. The boards cover up the seam underneath and the wires that showed on the frame that were annoying me also.

Update: did the ProCal4 performance tune on the 2024 Big Bend two-door 2.3L 7MT. Super impressed. The rear seats are removed, and the vehicle is about as light as a Bronco gets (with roughly stock tire size). Just over 6 seconds to 60mph. There is a noticeable improvement in throttle performance and turbo boost, though there is still too much turbo lag. Torque availability at lower RPM is much better. The Ford documentation for the ProCal4 package is poorly-documented. There were several "something probably happened/I guess it's done" scenarios, but I had no trouble and no drama installing it.

I got mine at levittownfordparts.com.

Is this a Ford part?
Yes. It is a Ford Performance product, with a warranty, etc.

There are different devices & tunes for the three different Bronco engines. Mine is the 2.3L:

Ford Performance Calibration With ProCal 4 Tool For 2.3L Engine Part Number: M-9603-B23 $660.05

There is lots of info on the ProCal4 on this forum, YouTube, etc.

The manual Bronco has drive modes. I know in an automatic it changes throttle response and transmission shift patters. What does it do for a manual one? I know in sport mode, auto start stop is turned off and I get orange gages with now a boost gage and battery gage different than normal. It seems to act the same for me in the manual.

I had the same question - what does the GOAT modes do for me when I have a manual transmission and no 4A, torque-vectoring, locking diffs, etc? I really never got a direct answer, but - I think it does very little. I notice only quicker throttle response. Probably turns on/off traction control in some modes. Maybe a change in timing (don't know). I haven't tested with the newly-installed ProCal4 in Sport mode, but I suspect that GOAT is just a gizmo/gimmick for the most part when you have a manual transmission.

The forums and Ford itself never really seems to the question you asked (because 4-door automatics are the bulk of discourse). Hopefully someone will jump in?

I now have absolute respect for those who can get a base model and keep it a base, wheels and all. I found I was not strong enough to avoid temptation and change things on mine. It did turn out like I wanted, but there is absolute charm in keeping a base as simple as possible to honor it's past from the first generation it was modeled after. There is another in my neighborhood in ingot silver, 2 door, base with a manual from 2021 the first year. He has actually worn down his original pizza cutter tires, imagine that. The pizza cutters match nice with the silver Bronco. I bet there are just a handful who ever accomplish that, the pizza cutter gang, my membership was revoked.

It may tighten or loosen steering, disable traction control, or enable lockers, see below:

Thanks for posting this!! So there we have it: where we see the asterisk under the "Trans." and "Drive" columns are what we are missing in the GOAT modes as 7MT owners with in base trim. What we get is changes to traction control, throttle, steering, grille air dam and exhaust. Of course we're also missing two GOAT modes altogether.
