C heck out the TAB BY NUCAMP
no personal experience, but has a real kitchen, minimal bath, sleeps two and weighs in at 2000 lbs dry. If I was in the market I would look hard at these.

I don't know if you guys caught it, but the new 2024 Jeep has a 5000 lb towing capacity. To do that, they change the rear axle.

I'm not advertising the Jeep, as much as the fact that maybe a limiting factor of the Beonco could be the axles?

Can it really tow more like 4k?
Sure it can. But can it do so safely?

I guess the real question is, do you really want to load your Bronco beyond recommendation and head cross country with your wife, infant son and doggo on board because somebody on the internet said it was possible? What would be your wife's answer?

To stay below the capacity you are looking at a tear drop, off-road type trailer or small pop-up. It will difficult to find a traditional travel trailer with the basic facilities I'm sure your wife is going to require, but they are out there. Best to have a convo with her and determine what she can and can't live without. Try to keep the dry weight of the trailer below 2500lbs to give you 1000lbs worth of gear and supplies to haul as it will add up quicker than you think.

Maybe consider a small trailer for one or two night stays and supplement with hotels or vacation rentals in between.

I'm a fan of Taxa Outdoors' unique solutions, and we own a Tiger Moth....but the Cricket looks nice!
https://taxaoutdoors.com/collections/adventure-vehicles

The Airstream Basecamp is another interesting option.
https://www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/basecamp/
The tongue weight on the Airstream Basecamp is over the Bronco limit. Had a Taxa Cricket, the next larger trailer in the lineup, Bronco would have no issues towing one.

Other options:
Intech - Flyer Chase, Pursue, or Explore. Luna Rover
NuCamp -Tag or Tab 320, 400 is too much weight.
Escapod
Bean
CampInn
Opus OPLite
A-Liner
Pop-ups
NoBo 10.5 or 10.6
GeoPro/E-Pro/Jayco 12RK

Many other options.

Other factors to consider; Payload, Combined Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (CGVWR), Frontal Area. Payload will be the limiting factor when looking trailer. Payload includes people, gear, fuel, and tongue weight of trailer.

I never hear anybody mention the Casita's. All their deluxe models come in at 2480 lb. dry weight (deluxe models have a bathroom - standards do not). Looks to me to be perfect for the Bronco and no membrane roof. I have owned 2 RV's before and I hate the roof maintenance.

Ok, so my opinion. Rent a class c or class a. You would get everything you need for your family in one unit. Set up your Bronco for flat tow or go rent a trailer and tow the Bronco behind it. Another option would be tent camping. Buy a small light weight trailer and pack it with tent, bags and the gear you’re going to need.
