I need a different trailer wiring harness kit. I am looking for different kit recommendations that maybe you used and works. Thanks in advance!

I used the Nilight 4 Pin Trailer Wiring Harness Kit 56468 Custom for 2021 2022 2023 2024 Ford Bronco with LED taillights. https://www.nilight.com/products/4-...for-2021-2024-ford-bronco-with-led-taillights. I would not recommend Nilight as there customer service is a joke. I bought this the 4th of January 2025, they only text despite having a email and a phone number to call. I am still talking with them as I type out this post. They respond once every three to four days via text only on working days. After every text you get an automated reply that states they will respond within 15 working hours (Lies... All lies).

They sent a replacement and it has the same exact issue. Please see the video below. I thought it may have been a grounding issue but it has been verified wired correctly by a mechanic and an electrical engineer on both kits. Brake lights, hazard lights, and running lights work as expected but left turn signal activates hazards on the trailer and right turn signal does nothing. I have verified that my trailer lights are LED, just stating this to CMA.

I have the Curt on mine. It works for me.

Are you sure it's not the trailer's wiring causing the issue? Have you tried it with another vehicle?

My FIL had a trailer much like that. It was from Harbor Freight, I think, I helped him assemble it. Pretty nice little light duty trailer, and it folded to store in much less space.

Looking at your picture with your Bronco, I think the issue is you want the kit that is for non LED taillights as that portion is directed towards what taillights you have on your Bronco (not the trailer).

Bronco tailights non LED:

This is the kit you should go with (assuming you want to stick with the same company)

That's it exactly. I didn't notice the Bronco has the halogen tails, but it does.

I've been using that same kit from the same company and it is the same as the Curt or another big name, but... I have LED taillights on my Bronco.

I believe we have the same trailer.

Thanks for that, I thought that it referred to the trailer not the vehicle end. I'll go swap them out.

@D_Mac
I think I still have a Curt 4 pin I'll gift to you if you want it.
You pay shipping , or if you live near Indiana, we can meet up.

I used the Curt on my Base at first, it was fine but I needed the 7 pin for the boat trailer with surge brakes (5 pin).
( I use a round 7 pin to a 5 pin adapter)

BUT ... what I strongly suggest IF the 7 pin is of any interest to you, get the kit via Ford.com and pay the $140 install and they'll update the computer for you for trailering. (provided there is a participating dealer near you)
Highly worth the $140 (+$279 kit ) .... in my opinion, but I occasionally tow that 3000lb boat.

The kit is linked above in @RagnarKon post.

Thank you for the offer, I ordered the new parts already. Should be here in the next day or two. I appreciate the offer though.

As for the 7 Pin, I'll take that into consideration. I don't do a whole lot of towing but moving bikes, wood and other junk on occasion. But when I do get a boat, I'll go through Ford for it.
