Need Leather wrap steering wheel suggestions

I love my Outer Banks but the plasticky steering wheel is very slippery and I wonder if anyone has replaced it w/ aftermarket steering wheels and what options are out there for me?

Yeah I went the cheap route, eBay, $10 And I do prefer the soft feel vs. the Ford leather wrap.

Even though my Outer Banks has the leather wheel, the quality of leather is quite bad and very slippery when compared to my other cars like a Sprinter van and even my Tesla Model 3 has grippier synthetic wheel surface. I can get by if I wear gloves to drive but was hoping to find a less expensive alternative than having to buy a good aftermarket wheel in the $300 + range. But this Carbon Fiber wheel on Amazon sure look enticing!!!

Realize this thread is a bit old but wanted to see what impact a cover had on the heated steering wheel.
Did it reduce the felt heat or was there little noticeable impact?

I just wrapped might but not having second thoughts on installing it (I have a heated wheel).

I noticed a significant decrease in my ability to feel the heated wheel when I added my cover. It looks great, but I was disappointed in the bit of a loss of the heated feature.

I picked up a second heated wheel in the marketplace and am sending it to Redline Goods so they can remove the OEM leather and install new leather in its place.

You can always crank the heat level up in the steering wheel through forscan

I was thinking about looking into peeling the old cover off and putting a new one over the top.

It was 10* out there today and the steering wheel felt lukewarm ( at max heat setting) - hands never got cold but it wouldn't warm up your hands if they were cold.

Appearance is a 10 (way better than that crappy rubber covered wheel).
Functionality is a 5

Took around 7 days to arrive once ordered

I paid $600 at an upholstery shop to have my Mustang steering wheel done in steering wheel specific Italian NAPA leather with OE color stitching and mic of side perforated plus a bit thicker rim. Worth every penny at a constant tactile surface though heating performance was dulled.

I like my OBX Lux wheel will not change it because fits with Bronco persona.
