Finally getting the Bronco soon! So they say. For current owners, what is your recommended accessory or mod needed out of chute? I have a couple of weeks until delivery I’d love to be prepared in advance.

Technically, nothing is required.

However, new wheels/tires seems to be many peoples first mod. Not for me though - I went with some AUX lighting for one of my earlier things I purchased. Technically my slide out security drawer was one of my first mods I bought and installed.

In Texas? The darkest window tint allowed by state law.

Unlike my order, your BD comes with decent tires.

Also, you might want to think about seat covers. The MGV is blistering hot in summer.

If you got sasquatch, add a tailgate reinforcement asap

Here is my build journal, it has links to lots of the goodies you have to have!

speaker upgrade hands down!

can go cheap-ish with 4x4" polks and 2x6.5 (or similar), kicker key 200.4, plugnplay kit, and a sub or kicker hideaway.

the stock system blows, especially with the noise or top pulled. it is night and day.

Depends on what you plan to use it for. outside your normal everyday driving, do you plan to go off-roading? If so, is it more overlanding? Rock crawling? Sand dunes?

Ugh, i forgot. I ordered the bronco with wheel locks and the rubber floor liners.

Getting dirt out of carpet sucks, so does getting your wheels stolen. Wanted those items day 1

If i had to prioritize
1. Wheel locks for my neighborhood
2. Steps, sasquatch is tall
3. Carpet liner

Everything else you can add as you go, i still haven't added a hitch, but it's in my basement. I don't trailer often.
Mudflaps still in basement, we dont really have rocks in the city
Front license plate holder still in basement, not required in Ohio anymore

So, there's stuff i bought thinking id need it right away but don't

I'm also sort of a minimalist, and keep things close to stock unless it serves a need.

Winch, speakers with amp upgrade, aux lights, grab handles above doors, tailgate table. Those are what I have done so far. This place costs me money.

I recommend the Harbor Freight Truck Bed Crane adapted to the Bronco hitch. You never know when you might need/want a hitch mounted 1/2 ton crane.

I saw your post in the "what did you do today..." thread. I would just love to know what the person is using that for. Obviously, they aren't pulling engine blocks.

If yours doesn't come with the tow package, then a receiver hitch. If you use it for a trailer rather than just bike racks/etc., then add in trailer wiring to give you a 4 pin connection. Those were the first things to be done on mine.

Because I have the 2.3L, I was in the middle of adding an oil catch can, but the install was only half done when my accident happened. So I've got a long pause until I can finish.

Done so much it’s hard to say. Soft top you for sure need the IAG soft top assist. Also like the third brake light ring. Gets the third brake light out of my rear view mirror.
