Maybe I just have really bad luck but I am on my second and soon to be third windshield. I have had two Wranglers and don’t recall this issue. First windshield took multiple hits, starring then finally cracking and running the full width of the windshield. I replaced with an OEM about a month ago. It took hits and starring again this morning. I’m sure the angle is part of the issue but rocks and debris are not glancing off like I would hope. Is there a durability issue or again, just bad luck? Anybody else having issues?

I got pinged pretty hard the other day. No damage, but it was noticeably louder than on other vehicles I've owned. Definitely made me wince. But yeah, the glass being at damn near 90 degrees doesn't help.

I put ExoShield film on and have had multiple hard hits with no damage. $375 with a 2 year warranty. Kind of pricey, but peace of mind and no sickening experience is worth it to me. See your xpel ppf installer. He usually does ExoShield as well. And yes, I do have insurance, but I don’t want the hassle and grief of dealing with it in the first place.

😳

No hits yet, but I just added zero deductible glass coverage for $80 a year. Should be a great investment. Even the Exoshield would take 5 years to pay for itself at that rate.

I dont, just enter ExoShield in the search engine for general info. Best bet is to contact a local or nearest Xpel ppf installer. The ExoShield website will probably have a installer locater.

Both my wranglers were blown out in first month, gladiator on the way home from dealer lol. I figured they'd last longer on the bronco with a little more aerodynamics to it

Dang man, that's a whole lot of freaking work to copy and paste a word into the browser. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Sure, but there is convience to consider. Not having to deal with insurance and repair/replacement is worth a bit more

Yup. On to my second windshield within a month of ownership and really thought I was going to need another one only a few days after replacement given the sound of something pinging off it loudly but this time it survived. I switched to a $100 deductible for $12 more a month. (Coverage good for all events not just glass since my state didn’t have the $0 glass only option)

Fair, but last time I had a windshield done I called them, they came out to my job and changed it in the parking lot while I worked and it was done and over with no hassle.
