Has anyone else noticed that the mid corner steering feedback/pressure kind of changes? When I’m in a longer sweeping corner, the steering rack seams to change input force. It seems to get easier for a second and causes it to upset the vehicle. I feel like in a slippery corner, it could cause the Bronco to oversteer. My wife and I have both noticed it and was wondering if it’s just part of how E-power steering works.

Similar Build/build date to yours, and No. I haven’t felt anything like that. Yea, could be the rack varying rate suddenly, might be tied to the ramp up on corner exit speed and the EPS tables

A guy posted here yesterday that his steering pressure dropped suddenly in a turn and the culprit was that his tie rod had snapped mid-corner.

I’ll have to pay attention to see if it has to do when I’m on or off throttle. Memory serves that it happens mid corner as I’m exiting the corner.

if you have lane assist on, ive noticed mine in a long sweeping turn randomly decide it didnt like where i was centered in the lane and then take corrective action and almost rip me into the oncoming lane

I have what I think you’re talking about but I have lux with lane keep assist and all of those associated features enabled to the fullest extent. When I am driving on country roads going around corners it almost Helps by turning the wheel for me when it notices there’s a turn. I absolutely love it personally really helps with the fatigue factor on long drives. Not sure if this is what you’re talking about though

My immediate thought as well. What OP described sounds exactly like the lane assist kicking in.

It was 100% the "Lane Keep". I tried it on and off and it was what caused it.
