Hello fellow bronco enthusiasts !

I have a question about a weird thread ware
I have had these tires on for 10k miles and noticed slight outside wear and no inside wear. I asked about it when I got my oil changed and they said I had bad toe in the front and got it fixed. They didn’t rotate my tires (even thought they said they did) and now I have noticed a weird cupping on the end on my thread block. In the middle of the tire. What could be causing this? I haven’t changed my PSI from 38 since I put them on.

Alignment still messes with ware in the middle? I didn’t know.
2.5 lift, also alignment was done after lifting

wear in the middle is usually over inflated.
38 psi sounds pretty high. I know the default is 35psi recommendation, but for most of the tires that are on Broncos even that is too high.
I see a lot of folks (including myself) running in the 28-32 psi range, depending on what chalk test shows for even contact on the tread. Different brand/type of tires are going to have a different sweet spot.

That’s what I saw after some research, but for 10k miles I didn’t have this weird ware and then after the alignment I noticed it. Maybe it’s just a coincidence…
Like I said I’m running 38 PSI and haven’t changed anything prior, 38 all around and I don’t have that ware in the back ( just the positive camber ware ) And the passenger side isn’t as bad as the driver. Is it really a possibility of just tread readjustment after the fixing the toe?

I’m gonna lower my PSI and see if it helps, it just such a drastic ware in just under a week.
thank you all for the fast replies!!

Grab some sidewalk chalk and see what your contact area is

I run 42 and don't have that. I'd say it's about the lift and angles and such...take it to the shop that did the work and let them ponder it.

Yeah I started off with 45 and lowered it to 38. They are F rated tires so they can hold 80PSI that’s why I didn’t think it was over inflation. I still lowered it to 29 and I’ll see how it goes, as far as patch contact, 29 is still missing my corners so I’d have to go even lower, which I’m not gonna do because I still drive highway sometime. I’d think it was the lift but it’s been 10k miles no problems, and the middle ware is really soft as well. Maybe it’s the tire not being top of the line an causing issues? Just so strange it’s a little corner of each block but it’s a decent amount that has rubbed off.

Think if it this way, being F rated they rated for around 4k each right? That 80 psi will hold up ~16k and your Bronco is around 1/3 of that.

They might like to be as low as 20-25 psi to get even wear (which will really hurt fuel economy). But now that it's started it's very difficult to reverse.

I run 29. Rule of thumb I’ve always used was more than 10% increase in pressure at speed is Lowest i go, regardless of tread wear. At 29 cold, my tires warm are 30-31…

An F rated tire is a completely different animal than the light duty Goodyears that come on Sasquatch.

Assuming the same pressure requirements is nuts. You have a VERY stiff sidewall, and your tire design as seen in the photo shows a natural crown in center tread. The Bronco is not heavy enough to flatten the tread or flex the sidewalls. That flex is needed for traction and even wear. As you’ve decided to run these big stiff tires, you should either expect center wear or air down until you get a reasonable contact patch, using chalk. As it sits now, your traction is diminished in both dry and wet due to the tire characteristics and your light weight Bronco. You can’t fix this with alignment alone.

Wear in the center of tires is from over inflation. Every time.
