There is usually plenty of lighting in the mall parking lot. ;)

So a 40 is just something that will fit no matter what
It obviously will depend on the roof rack and the particular light kit you get.

But yes... generally speaking if you want to use a roof rack with a light bar... your best option is to get a light bar 40" or smaller as it'll provide the most amount of compatibility.

Why did you pick the 50? Doesn't it mean you can fit a roof rack on now?
I have the Sunrider on my 2-door, so will never add a full-length roof rack. I am planning on ordering the short rack that Badass tents shows in the pic above.

0" no lightbar. So far the 2 OEM headlights work just fine.
Many groups require auxiliary lights for night runs. Anything other than a roof mounted light bar can be compromised by mud/dirt.

Do you overland and offroad with your Bronco? Are the OEM headlights that good?
Yes with Bronco and also with my work truck..2500 Duramax up some of the crappiest road on earth going to communication sites.
My max speed is the speed of smell. 4 low in low gear for miles.
If you like lights then great..but lights are an issue for me.
A few more smart ass remarks from AZ

Absolutely agree. I was referring to high speed night tracks where you are spaced a minute or so behind the vehicle in front. I should have been more specific.

I was just wondering how well the work. If they work fine then maybe I dont go for the light bar yet. Thanks
