My experience in Maryland. Brand new 1989 Olds Cutlass bought by wife. Every time it rained the inside filled with water. After multiple dealer attempts to fix I had to go through the lemon law process. We had to prepare several copies of all the service attempts. Meeting was set up with Olds regional rep and dealer rep. Retired dude was the “ judge”. After hearing both sides ( we claimed it still filled with water, Olds said it was fixed) the moderator suggested we run the car through the car wash next door. We had never run the car through a car wash because of the issue and I knew no lawyer in the world would agree to this unless they knew in advance it would leak. I decided to roll the dice and run it through the car wash. After it went through the car wash there was three inches of water across the vehicle floor. Olds immediately offered a new car. Wife wanted money since we would not buy another Olds. We had the car for one year and put 10K miles on it. We received $600. 00 less than the purchase price. ( you don’t get the sales tax back, go figure). It took effort on our part in preparing and meeting the listed requirements but it was worth it.

My dealership in Englewood (SWFL) is DYNAMITE. 941-475-5444 ( Mike, service mgr )
I don't know how far away you reside. Might be too long a trip for you.
Sorry about your problems and dealership. Good Luck

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience with the Lemon Law procedures? I am still very early in the stages as my BRaptor has only been in the shop since Saturday. Just looking to hear any stories of experiences and whether or not you represented yourself, details below on my situation:

1. Got the 25' BRaptor mid-November (New, Shelter Green w/ matching hardtop)
2. Cruise control never worked
3. Turned it in this past weekend and service advisor called that afternoon saying they couldn't figure it out.
4. Update yesterday was the shop foreman and Ford engineering are working on it.
5. What has me concerned is that my Ford app shows two failures (Anti-lock and pre-collision not available). These never showed up on my dashboard. Also, two days before I purchased the vehicle, Ford Pass showed the dealer working on electronics in the service history. This has since disappeared. Just seems odd, but I could be overthinking it.

I've only put around 800 miles on the BRaptor since I got it. I hope they can fix it, but if it hits any of the qualifications for the Lemon Law I will probably proceed. Thank you for your input!
I'm in Florida, we have a pretty clear and strong Lemon Law here. And I used it. My '14 Chrysler 300 John Varvatos was a beautiful car and I loved it. Driving the kids to school one morning, the instruments went berzerk, lights flashing, needles sweeping back and forth. Dropped the kids off, pulled nto a parking lt and shut it off. Started back up and the dash was dead. No gauges, lights, etc. Dealer checked it out, said cluster was bad, the Varvatos uses the same cluster as a regualr 300 but with some model speific overlays that change the appearandnce not the function. They said 20-days to 2 weeks as the cluster waas on back order. Got me a Hertz car and I waited. And waaited. And waited. 6 weeks in still nothing, I filed a Lemon Law claim myself. HEard back from Chrysler pretty quicly, andther week or so and I got a call, we're buying your car back at full value. No discount for the 26k miles I'd put on it. OK! Another 10 days or so and I get a packet with all the info and forms to sign as well as drop off location. The next day the phone rings.. your 300 is fixed and ready! Now what? Called the Lemon Law guy and offered him this; I really like my 300. Give me the 6 year 100k Bumper to Bumper warranty and I'll keep my car and you keep your 41k. To my surprise, they said NO. I restated my offer, Nope. Keep your car or sell it back, that's the choice. Not wanting to get stuck with the same issue once the warranty expires, I sold it back. Crazy. Bought a new Cadillac XTS with the 41k

Thank you for sharing, I feel like I’d be in the same predicament as I had the same thought. I love the Bronco but would want additional coverage… even though I’m highly unlikely to keep it that long.

my lawyer told me the most likely senecio for me is going to be cash and keep, where ford ends up refunding some of the purchase price to me and i keep the car. The warranty stays intact and the title doesn't get branded so it'll be difficult for anyone to be able to tell that that car was having or is having lots of issues.

Got it back yesterday! They replaced all wheel speed sensors and some ABS sensor, and that fixed the issue. Just wanted to provide an update in case this happens to anyone else. Ford said this issue hasn’t been very common.

My experience in Maryland. ( you don’t get the sales tax back, go figure).
I believe you can but it’s a separate process, not through the mfr. I’m dealing with all this bs now.

Me to, I think you have to send something to the MVA and they will give you a credit or something like that.

Everything worked out for me. It took until December 23rd to get the Bronco back. What fixed it was replacing all wheel speed sensors and some ABS module. Thank you everyone for the input.
