I had all this disabled, but noticed a couple of months ago, the damn lane assist steering wheel vibrations came back... Unsure if a sync update added it back or not, but I had everything disabled in my sync menu and the button on my steering wheel controls was turned off, but now I cannot figure out how to get the annoying wheel vibrations off again... I looked and looked for a way to disable the vibrations, but couldn't find anything? Can you tell me how you disabled them please? Thanks!I found it, thanks. I found the option on the screen to change features, I didn't know about the button on the steering wheel.
There’s a button on your steering wheel near the cruise control stuffI had all this disabled, but noticed a couple of months ago, the damn lane assist steering wheel vibrations came back... Yes, I mentioned the button on the wheel above... But after I noticed it happening again, I did everything again and nothing changed it...There’s a button on your steering wheel near the cruise control stuff
Yes some updates and/or battery disconnects will reset these options.
Negative!Driver Assist menu in Sync 4. I think there are 3 options. Off is one of them.
Haha...... I always heard that referred to as RTFM.
It's been like this since I've owned it though and just recently the wheel shaking came back... I don't have those stupid green lines anymore, I disabled all that mess in Forscan last year. I guess I'll go back into Forscan this week and see if something happened with an update? I don't need this feature, I've been driving since the 80's, LOL!Mine is off all the time. I thought I had turned it off in settings. I was wrong.
Guess I should have checked first. Was going by memory only. Looks like the best you can do is Aid. That way you have the green lines and steering "assist" but no wheel shake. So the only way to turn it off is the button on the wheel.
I just turned it off on day one and I’ve never dealt with it since. Never even considered needing to forscan any of itIt's been like this since I've owned it though and just recently the wheel shaking came back...
