There's not an option to just turn it off on my Bronco....
Not sure if that’s because some of your forscan changes or what, but just pressing the steering wheel button should disable the whole system. All broncos are the same.
Like I said, I did that on day one and it’s never been on since.

No clue? When I got mine, I pushed that button on the steering wheel and it just got rid of the green lines on the dash. I never had an option to turn the whole thing off and everytime I asked about doing it in Forscan, I got yelled at... Eventually, I had though I got rid of it all, but maybe 2 months ago, I noticed the wheel vibrating showed back up... I'm not a big fan of these automatic or even manual updates to these vehicles... I also noticed that my splash screen is no longer the rolling rocks animation, it's just an outline of a horse... I guess I need to see if I can change that back too?

Yeah if the lines on the dash are off, the system is completely off. It shouldn’t be vibrating or anything.
So whatever you changed in forscan may have messed with how it works and now it’s partially active even though it shouldn’t be?
Hard to say.

As far as the rolling rocks, as far as I know, there is no way to bring that back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. That’s just part of one of the new updates. Because it now matches the 25+ instrument cluster animation.

I may be weird, but I like the new splash screen. Always thought the rolling rocks was cheesy looking.

Just one old man's opinion and worth what it cost you.

Thanks, I will check tonight. I didn't mess with any of the "AS-BUILT" files though, I just disabled as much of it as I could without messing with those files. But I'll see what it says tonight?

If you use the "easy mode" settings, it makes the AS-BUILT adjustments for you. So just messing with it at all on a module and yeah, the AS-BUILTs for that module get changed automatically.

And then, over the next few days, your OTA update process will send your changes back to Ford and they will update their servers on your new AS-BUILT changes.

Which is why it's so important to make backups of your AS-BUILTs before you make any changes.

I do save the files before I modify them :) The only actual "AS-BUILT" files I've changed the numbers on, were for the OEM Tow Package Wiring. But, I understand what you me by changing things in "easy" mode would change the overall "AS-BUILTS" as well.
