if its anything like their bimini tops that are mesh , its so that we can leave them on under our hardtop and not have to remove them everytime . gives us access to the latches on the top
It's hard to imagine the clips would work with that fat velcro seam on the perimeter, guess I'm new to this. My hardtop latches are very snug. I've seen the net ones but they velcro under the roll bar. I guess we'll have to wait for the release and some demos.

its hard to understand at first , i agree . but can honestly say that the JTOPS bimini doesn't flap in the wind , stays tight , and made it easy to access the latches , even with my big meat clobber hands ..

I love my mesh top but I hate the velcro mounting. Ive replaced the velcro twice now. Yes I cleaned it and used the adhesion promotor as instructed. Im having issues again with it pealing up some on the rear. Im gonna cut off about a 10" section and put a new piece in place. Its on the back end on both side. I can also see where it appears to be shrinking or tightening. I live in Louisiana and 100+ temps during the summer are no joke.

Potentially very interested if this can fit under the hard top and has the ability to be rolled up and secured with the front 3 panels off
Or, for those with 2-doors, the front 2 panels?

I guess I don't really understand the need for a solid version coming from a hard top guy. What's the point?

What's the need for 4 massive holes? It is velcro stretched over, do people have handles that go through the roof?
These are the access ports to the hard top mounts. The photo is a prototype and the ports have been made smaller on the production version.
In all our rain tests very little water finds it way in. Remember this is not a waterproof top it’s designed to block all the sun and keep you dry in an emergency.

Sorry te hear about your Velcro issues. Do you have the new 2 inch? We changed to an ultra heat marine hook and loop midway through last year and have no issues.
I live in Texas and have had zero issues with the hook and loop.
let me know how I can help.

Yes that’s correct. It allows access to the flip paddles. During rain test little to no water came through. Remember this is not a waterproof top it’s used to block full sun and rain while giving you a more open feel.

Let me find out if we can print on the twill.
Mike
Spoke to product development and unfortunately we are not going to print on this material. It’s too thick to properly go through our LED printer.

I’m one of those who’s requested it. I like the mesh but prefer the inside dry in a surprise rainstorm. That and if you off-road with top off a lot, having an option to roll windows up and keep dust out would be nice. If and when I want to go full sun, Mikes designs make that fast and easy. Best of both worlds for me.
